Join Here's My Chance and the Generosity Series for 1 of 3 infosession on August 14th to learn how your organization can run its own 5K Run/Walk fundraiser without any the administrative or overhead-ache. If you are looking for an end of year fundraiser, this is a great opportunity. Infosessions are best attended by Directors of Development, Community Engagement Managers, Executive Directors or others interested in peer-to-peer fundraising strategies.
Sessions are scheduled as follows:
SESSION 1: Breakfast 8am-930am
SESSION 2: Lunch 12pm - 130pm
SESSION 3: Happy Hour 5pm - 730pm
Each session will review how the race functions and how your organizations can raise critical end of year funds.
About the Race -
Generosity Series is hosting a turn key 5K run/walk event in Fairmount Park November 16th for local nonprofits to use as a fundraiser without the overhead-ache of hosting their own race. We think this could be a great addition to, or idea for, your fall appeal since it is a low cost, high return program that seems to be ideal for orgs with limited budgets and personnel, but engaged and motivated supporters that would participate in a 5K. Its also a great marketing tool to raise awareness for your mission.
All donations go directly to your organization, they never pass through another entity or business at any point. Organizations only need to secure 13 participants to break even and the average returns in 4 previous test races were $10,000 for a $2,500 investment.
Generosity Series covers all of the logistics, staffing and set up for the race and provides each participating organization with custom tee shirts, bibs, medals, banners, and all of the needed graphics, flyers and webdesign. Each organization gets a personalized fundraising webpage to attract contributors and monitor success, set and keep track of goals, create teams and gather donations.
